The whole Martin clan came to Boston this weekend to move in my sister, aka my and Mike’s roomie for the summer. We adventured around Copley Square on Saturday, including a stop at Restoration Hardware and, OMG. I’m moving in. Mike told me 1000000 times I would love it there, but obvi I didn’t listen until I actually went to shop visit. Beeeaa-uuuty.
On Sunday we spent the day in Marblehead, with perfect weather and an impromptu photo shoot or two (see last photo). Family fun for all ;)
I looove Boston! Looks like you had a great time - and beautiful weather - with your family!
How lucky you are to have your sister for the whole summer! I’m also crazy about those pom pom flowers with all the pinks and purples and oranges! How amazing are those…
What great photos! (Except the one of me looking like I’m doing some form of tai chi.) We had such a fun weekend together.
WAIT WHAT. where is this restoration hardware?! is it that one neat building on newbs/boylston? the one i always think is a church or something? if so, do you need a roommate?
Great photos! Did you take all of these around Boston? It looks like you have quite a fun family! Thanks for sharing these great memories!
I’ve been wanting to go to Restoration Hardware since they opened, and blog posts like this keep fueling my fascination.
In other news, isn’t Marblehead the best? I love how classically New Englandy it is, and how perfectly summery.
I just found your blog today and how funny you just went to Marblehead, where I live! I’m new to blogging and trying to connect with others in the area. Happy to have found you!
