Happy Monday, friends! I realized that I never got around to sharing my pictures from my day trip to Newport with my family over Easter weekend. And since it’s almost the end of the semester and I have 17 papers due…what better time to blog?
We toured some mansions, did the cliff walk, and popped into little shops for salt water taffy and blown-glass ornaments. Newport is just THE cutest and I want to move there and have the best meal of my life all day, every day, forever.
I bring you…an afternoon in Newport!
Nice photos! Yes, Newport is Nice! It’s scary going over the bridge thou!
So so gorgeous. I lived in Providence and still feel remiss for never visiting Newport. Oh well…guess I’ll just have to live there someday.
I can’t believe you never went to Newport! You MUST. This summer? Blogger road trip?
Love photos like these - so representative of time well spent. And lovin’ your coat - what is it? I’m off to read the best meal off your LIFE???
Thank you! It’s from H&M a zillion years ago…one of my best H&M purchases!
Wow, love your photos! It looks beautiful over there. And I looove salt water taffy, wish I could have that over here! Good luck with your papers.
THANK YOU!! I’m gonna need it!
I’m so dang jealous I’m dying to go to Newport, and these photos are gorgeous!!
Oh, I love Newport, too! Such a gorgeous spot. And Rosecliff is one of my fave mansions. I must plan a day trip for this summer!
I love these photos! I was looking at their website. Did u purchase tickets to walk around? Which ones ? How much were they? Any advice?
We ended up getting tickets to tour Rosecliff, the rest of the mansions we just looked at from the outside. I’d recommend picking one that looks good to you (Rosecliff was beautiful, and lots of people love the Breakers) and get tickets to tour the inside, then look at the rest from the cliff walk. If it’s a nice day I could happily spend a whole afternoon walking the cliff walk - it’s gorgeous!
