Even though I’ve la-la-LOVED each and every Paris post I’ve done so far: {sights}, {Eiffel tower}, {food}, this one may be my favorite. Here are all the little details I caught on our trip, the things you may not notice at first but inevitably add up to make Paris the spectacular city that it is.
I bring you Paris: The Deets.
We spotted these guys ALL over the city; they’re from the Invader project and so fun to keep an eye out for!
MINNIE!! My frenchie BFF.
This frenchie {with his spiked collar and “I don’t give a ****” glare} is cooler than you’ll ever be.
Tune in for Paris: By Night next!
These photos are gorgeous - love the different perspectives. Love Paris too!
Beautiful photos. I love the details. The ones with the Eiffel Tower in the background are my favs.
I think they’re my favs too
Gargoyles are my FAVE, but I like that last shot the best. Aren’t you the one who agreed with me that looking in people’s windows at night is the best activity? That’s a super tempting window. I can just imagine a huge bed with a big white comforter inside…with a poodle sleeping at the end.
YES! One of my favorite things to do in Boston- walk down Beacon St. when it’s dark out and stare in all the windows. And I want to live in the Paris scene you described, but replace the poodle with a french bulldog.
these are lovely!
Love the pics. Don’t need to go there myself now! (actually, realy I would love to someday).
YES…you do need to go yourself. And let me know if you need a travel guide, after 6 days I’m practically Parisian.
The deets are the best, I’m all over this post! Hahaha, just read Clair’s comment about peeking into people’s windows. Would you believe we saw some hanky panky happening in a window in Paris?? No JOKE! Mostly it was a naked dude, but we were like, SERIOUSLY, that is happening, right now.
Anyway, we’re not perverts, but it gave us a good laugh. I never made it to the locks, but looks amazing!
No WAY! That is so very Paris and I love it.
Are those locks along that fence? I think that picture is amazing- my favorite of them all.
(and the Eiffel Tower pic, of course!)
Along a bridge; here’s the story: http://www.bonjourparis.com/story/paris-love-locks-love-that-wont-die/
Pretty cool, dontcha think?
Wow, that is pretty incredible. Did you and Mike lock up your love??
I don’t want to talk about it. I didn’t know what the locks were for until AFTER we got back and now I’m feeling serious after-the-fact FOMO about it.
Sigh, these pictures are SO gorgeous! You have a wonderful eye for details, and I am not pretty much ready to hop on the next flight to Paris.
