I always love to get a behind-the-scenes look at other people’s houses/apartments/lives, so I thought I’d share a few favorite things about the place where I spend 86% of my time… the kitchen!

Your kitchen is so SO beautiful!! I just love that view looking out your window.
I have to say, our kitchen isn’t my favorite space, as it’s pretty cramped and doesn’t get amazing light. But I do love our pretty little Ikea table and our white, ceramic tiles. Bee-yoo-tiful.
White ceramic tiles! Love! I have a love/hate relationship with white in a kitchen – love because it looks beautiful and hate because it’s impossible to keep clean! In my dream house I have a self-cleaning all-white kitchen. Smart House style.

Thank you! The flowers are my favorite part – I was so excited to see that Trader Joe’s had ranunculus this week (my favorite) AND they were yellow. So much cheer!

The thing I like most about my kitchen is that I have tons of counter space.

oh gosh. my favorite thing…has to be the dishwasher. and how it’s made me realize what i can do with so little!
YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE A DISHWASHER. I had one in my first two apartments so moving to my current apt sans-dishwasher (and microwave!) was a maaajor adjustment. Luckily Mike and I have a deal worked out where I do most of the cooking and he does most of the dishwashing

Desserts in JARS?!! I made a chocolate peanut butter cake in a jar once and it was life-changing.
omg, i think we are the same person. pops of color! pre-k art (from my nannying babes)! JARS (master hoarder over here)! all i need is a mixer like yours (shooting for it as a grad gift…ahem.) this is just divine. i am designgasming over it.
