Happy Friday, friends! Here are some tidbits from around the internet that I thought you should know about..
One of my new years resolutions was to grow my brain.
Currently reading this book and it makes me want to move to a beet farm and milk my own cows and raise my own chickens and churn my own butter and never, ever shop at a grocery store ever again.
This is the blog I go to when I need some lovely photos in my life. (And also… every day.)
Never met a peanut butter/oreo combo I didn’t like.
Mike I just watched this documentary, which was mildy depressing, but the main character (person? lady?) went to my high school! Hey giiirrll!

I read The Dirty Life a few years ago and I loved it! I’ve never wanted to live on a farm so badly.
Seriously. I can’t stop thinking about it. (Something along the lines of, “Can I fit a cow and a tomato plant into my apartment? FRESHLY CHURNED BUTTER. Seeeeeds.”)
Have you read this?: http://www.amazon.com/Bucolic-Plague-Manhattanites-Gentlemen-Unconventional/dp/0061997838
If you like Kristin Kimball’s book I think you’ll like this one.
I haven’t! I will have to check it out, especially since this info is coming from an expert!
YOU INCLUDED ME! You sweet thing. (Thanks!!)
I saw something about those brain games somewhere else, too. I might have to try it out.
COokies and Cream PB? OMG. Yes, please.
Also, I’ve never read that book, but DID read Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver and is was REAL GOOD and made me want to eat all local and have my own chickens, and can my own rhubarb, and make my own cheese. Loved that book– it’s written in narrative, but there are recipes in it too. HIGHLY recommend.
Children with Swag? DY-ing. TOO GOOD!
